Elanza

About Elanza

Made-to-measure clothing, without the two trips to a tailor's shop.

Most people stop having clothes made because of the logistics, not the price. It means finding a tailor, going once to be measured, going again to collect, and having no idea what is happening in between.

What we changed

Elanza keeps the tailor and removes the trips. You choose a style, a rider collects your fabric from your door, and the rider takes your measurements in person at that same visit - because a tape measure in someone’s hands beats a number typed into a form. A named tailor stitches the garment, and a rider brings it back.

You can see the whole thing

Every order moves through an explicit set of stages, and each stage names who is responsible for it. You can see which stage your order is at, who has it, and what happens next - from the moment you place it to the moment it is handed back.

The people doing the work

  • Tailors get the measurements, the special instructions and the custom additions before they start, so nothing is relayed second-hand.
  • Riders handle collection and delivery, and are the ones who record your measurements properly.
  • The studio assigns work, prices anything unusual you have asked for, and steps in when something needs a human decision.

Pricing you can follow

A style has a base price. Add-ons have their own prices and are fixed at the moment you order, so a later catalogue change cannot alter what you were charged. Offers apply automatically when they are live, and if a promotion and a standing discount both apply, you get the better of the two rather than a stack of small ones. Anything genuinely bespoke is priced by hand, with the reason recorded on your order.
